Donate to the Indigenous Business Resilience Fund

Your donation provides hands-on support to Indigenous businesses - pairing practical advice with capability building, so businesses don’t just survive but thrive.

Why This Fund Matters

Indigenous businesses are at the heart of strong communities.

Yet too often, they face complex compliance requirements, limited access to culturally safe advisors and a lack of clear, accessible financial guidance and tools.

These challenges can hold businesses back from reaching their potential - or even put them at risk of failure.

Why This Fund is Different

We acknowledge that capability building in isolation isn’t enough. Indigenous businesses need more than training or resources.

They need advisors who walk alongside them with tailored advice and guidance;

Support to navigate the compliance environment confidently and sustainably; and

Best-practice training that equips them for the long term.

The Indigenous Business Resilience Fund ensures businesses get both immediate, hands-on guidance and long-term capability support.

Current Stream: Financial Capability

Right now, your donation supports the Financial Capability stream, which delivers:

  • Financial navigation and literacy support tailored to each business’s circumstances.

  • Practical, hands-on assistance - catch-up bookkeeping, ATO negotiations, and remediation work that sets businesses up for a stronger future.

  • Business financial wellbeing support -  helping business owners manage financial stress, make confident decisions, and stay focused on running their enterprise.

  • Mentoring and training for Indigenous accountants-in-training, building the next generation of culturally safe business navigators.

  • Future streams of the Fund will expand into areas like technology supportgovernance, and leadership capability.

    Choose your level of impact

Donations over $2 are tax deductable

Every donation to the Indigenous Business Resilience Fund makes a direct, hands-on difference. Whether it’s an early reach-out to a business at risk, a dedicated financial wellbeing session, or full-scale resilience support, your gift helps Indigenous businesses take action and build stronger futures.

You can choose the contribution level that speaks to you, knowing that every dollar funds practical, culturally safe support where it’s most needed.

    $50 – Early Reach-Out to At-Risk Businesses

Funds a proactive check-in with a business owner identified as at risk - for example, facing rising ATO debt or showing signs of disengagement. This early contact reassures them they’re not alone and connects them with support before problems escalate.

$250 – Business Financial Wellbeing Session

Covers a one-hour business financial wellbeing session, helping a business owner face challenges directly, take action on immediate issues (like ATO debts or overdue obligations), and build a plan for a stronger future.

    $500 - Supporting Indigenous Accountants-in-Training

Provides professional development and study support for Indigenous accountants-in-training - covering mentoring, supervision, and resources that build skills and confidence to become culturally safe business advisors.

    $3,000-$5,000 - Business Resilience Package

Delivers a full package of support for one Indigenous business: catch-up bookkeeping, ATO negotiations, remediation work, cashflow planning, governance tools, and mentoring to strengthen long-term sustainability.
